Artist Seth Augustine and Costume Designer Rachel Shachar worked with Centro Cultural Chacao to lead puppet fabrication and puppet theater workshops in barrios, homeless shelters and juvenile detention facilities. The design of the puppets and the content of the performances was ultimately a result of the creative vision of the participants. Once completed, the puppet theaters remained in the communities as a platform for future performances. Caracas, Venezuela, 2012

International collaboration between American Artist Seth Augustine and Chinese Artist Shi Yong, addressed  human rights concerns of factory workers in China. Seth was blindfolded and taken to a factory  on the outskirts of Shanghai. Performing hard, manual labor, he worked, lived, and ate with Chinese laborers for one week. Artifacts, photographs, documentary video, and extensive video interviews with many workers were included in a large-scale installation of the project. Shanghai, China 2009
